The ball will then move to occupy the block. Continue the process until a line of at least 5 identical balls is formed, then the whole line of balls will be removed. The star symbols on the board indicate the positions and colors of the new balls that will appear after each move, but you may still use other balls to fill those positions before the new balls appear. The required amount of destroyed groups of balls is shown on the left of the screen, and your score will be recorded at the top left corner. If the board is filled with balls, you lose the game.
