As unusual as it seems, Crazy Quilt is a challenging and fun solitaire game. Using 2 decks of standard playing cards, your goal in this game is to move all cards to the 8 vertically arranged foundations on the left and right of the screen. The 4 foundations on the left should be built up by suit from A to K, while the 4 foundations on the right should be built down by suit from K to A. When the game starts, the 4 Aces will be dealt to the foundations on the left, while the 4 Ks will be dealt to the foundations on the right. Then 64 cards will be dealt face-up to the tableau in the middle of the screen, with every other card rotated 90 degrees, for example on the first row, the first card is placed vertically, the second horizontally, the third vertically, and so on; on the second row, the first card is placed horizontally, the second vertically, and so on. The remaining cards are placed face-down to the stock pile at the top left corner, while the discard pile at the top right corner will be left empty. On the tableau, only a card that has a shorter side unblocked, i.e. not touching any other card, can be moved. To deal a new card to the discard pile, click the stock pile. Can you master the wordtris by forming meaningful words with the falling letters? In this game, your goal is to arrange the descending blocks of letters into words with at least 3 letters vertically or horizontally, so that those blocks are destroyed and removed. To control a block, you may use the down, left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. Take notice of the next letter which is hinted on the left, and aim for a higher score by spelling longer words or the word shown in the bonus section. If a bomb appears, you may land it on top of a block to destroy all blocks of the same letter in the game area, for example, when you move the bomb to the top of an A, all of the blocks of A in the game area will be destroyed. When a block of fire lands on top of a block, it will first spread out horizontally until its path is blocked by a wall, a block or an empty space. Then it will destroy all connected blocks on the row below its path. However, if it is landed on an empty pile, it will simply destroy itself. You can click and drag a column vertically or move the middle row horizontally so as to match the gems. When 3 or more gems of the same color are aligned in the middle row, those gems will be destroyed. Then the gems which are immediately above or below the destroyed pieces will be moved to the middle row. If you can align and destroy 5 gems of the same color in the middle row, a "SUPER" effect will occur and multiple opponent gems will be transformed into stones. Note that the stones cannot be moved over the edges of the play area or be destroyed like normal gems, but the other "SUPER" effect will be your aid when you are under attack, which help you to remove the stones which are immediately adjacent to the gems of the same color as the destroyed gems, for example, when 5 red gems are destroyed, the "SUPER" effect will take place and the stones which are immediately adjacent to the red gems outside the middle row will be removed. Since new gems will be constantly added to your play area, you need to act fast or you will lose.
