Pulado vs Rosebud AI
An arcade engine you can tune by hand, or custom 2D and 3D games built with AI. Two different ways to turn an idea into something playable.
Choose Pulado if…
- You want a shooter, invaders game, maze chase, racing dodge game, paddle game or catch-and-serve arcade game.
- You prefer visual settings to editing source code.
- You want built-in mods, leaderboards, game pages and embeds.
- You want sharing to unlock more games, with referral earnings for eligible player spending.
Choose Rosebud AI if…
- Your idea needs custom mechanics beyond an arcade engine.
- You want to explore 3D worlds as well as 2D games.
- You want access to generated JavaScript to edit your game.
- You want Pro code download or Windows export.

Questions
What is the main difference between Pulado and Rosebud AI?
Pulado gives you an existing arcade engine with visual controls for movement, enemies, weapons and gameplay mods. Rosebud generates editable JavaScript for a wider range of custom 2D and 3D games. Choose based on whether your idea fits an arcade engine or needs custom code.
Can Rosebud AI make 3D games?
Yes. Rosebud describes both 2D and 3D creation, including Three.js-powered worlds. Pulado focuses on its 2D arcade engine and does not offer a 3D game builder.
Can I edit a Pulado game without using AI?
Yes. The visual editor lets you change engine settings without an AI request or a generation charge. Free-account game unlock limits still apply; generating new art or music costs credits.
Can I download my game's code?
Rosebud lists code download and Windows export on its Pro plan. Pulado games run on the Pulado engine and do not include source-code export.
Are both game makers free to start?
Yes. Pulado lets you make and publish your first game for free; generated assets cost credits, while template and library picks do not. Real players can unlock more free games. Rosebud offers a free plan without a credit card and describes weekly credit refills in eligible regions. Check each pricing page for current allowances.
How do creator earnings differ?
Pulado offers 30% of net purchased credits spent by eligible players you refer through your hosted game page, not visits from the arcade. This is not a payment per play or a guaranteed income. Rosebud's terms allow paid subscribers to commercialize their content; that is different from a referral revenue-share program.
