Welcome to our August 2026 update! This month, we've focused on refining the core experience, making your games look and feel even better, and ensuring they're easier to share with the world.
Smoother Gameplay & Visuals
We've rolled out several improvements to enhance the in-game experience for players and creators alike.
- Graceful Game Pausing: No more frantic catch-up when returning to a game! Your Pulado games will now automatically pause when you switch to another browser tab. This means no more sudden enemy spawns, expired power-ups, or wildly off-sync timers when you tab back in, providing a much smoother and fairer experience.
- Seamless Scrolling Backgrounds: Say goodbye to those pesky hairline seams in your tiled scrolling backgrounds! We've refined the rendering process so that while your backgrounds still scroll with smooth, fractional-pixel precision, the individual panels now align perfectly without any visible gaps.
- Visible Death Animations: Players can now fully appreciate the dramatic effects of their demise! We've adjusted the timing so that explosion animations and other effects triggered on player death will now play out completely, rather than being cut short.
Better Sharing & Game Management
Sharing your creations and tracking progress is now more reliable and user-friendly.
- Correct Game Links: We've fixed an issue where links in the Pulado bar (like 'Play Again' or 'High Score') might have incorrectly pointed to a generic game 1. Now, all these links will correctly reference the specific game you are currently playing, ensuring high scores and level unlocks are always tied to the right game.
- Functional Share Button: The 'Share' button in the Pulado bar is now fully operational! Players can easily click it to get a direct link to your game's public page, making it simpler than ever to spread the word about your awesome creations.
